Experienced therapist and educator, supporting children, teens, and adults with anxiety, trauma, depression, and substance use challenges.
I believe that the first step for a therapist is to work to develop a relationship with clients where there is trust, respect and caring.
My clinical experience includes work with children, adolescents, battered women, and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
In addition to my social work, I have been a teacher and mentor at the Waterford School in Sandy, Utah for nearly two decades. Teaching has given me opportunities to work with students, families, and colleagues to promote academic learning, social/emotional learning, and to create an environment in the classroom that fosters growth.
